Carabella was originally registered/built for Commander E H Banfield, OBE on 9April 1965. Sail number 55, regd no. 307385. He only kept it for 4 years and it has had some 12 owners. I have the list and it seems all the owners since 1975 (4th owner) have lived in Essex or Suffolk. The boat remained registered until a couple of years ago.. I have now owned it for 4 years.
